1. Not directed to children under 13 by default
MyCleverly is not directed to children under 13 by default. Children under 13 may not create standard accounts or submit personal data unless MyCleverly has implemented a compliant parent, guardian, or school consent flow for the specific product.
If you believe a child under 13 provided personal data without required consent, contact support@mycleverly.com so we can review and delete the data where appropriate.
2. COPPA compliance
For U.S. children under 13, online services directed to children or knowingly collecting personal information from children must comply with COPPA and applicable rules.
A child-directed MyCleverly product should include a direct notice to parents, verifiable parental consent where required, limited collection, parental access and deletion rights, data minimization, retention limits, security safeguards, and restrictions on behavioral advertising to children.
3. Teen users
Teen users should use MyCleverly only with parent or guardian permission where required. MyCleverly may limit certain features for minors, including public profiles, messaging, creator monetization, AI prompts, live sessions, downloads, or advertising personalization.
Creators must not ask minors to disclose sensitive information, private family information, exact location, school identifiers, identity documents, payment details, or other unnecessary personal data.
4. Schools and educational organizations
If a school or educational organization provides access to MyCleverly, the school may be responsible for obtaining required consents, providing notices, managing rosters, and controlling educational records under applicable law.
MyCleverly should process school-provided student data only to provide educational services, support accounts, maintain security, comply with law, and follow the school’s written instructions where a data processing agreement applies.
5. Parent and guardian requests
Parents or guardians may contact support@mycleverly.com to request review, correction, deletion, or restriction of a child’s personal data where permitted by law.
MyCleverly may require verification of parental authority before disclosing or changing child account information.
