1. Commitment
MyCleverly aims to make digital learning accessible to as many people as reasonably possible, including users who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, captions, transcripts, zoom, high contrast, assistive technologies, or alternative formats.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. MyCleverly should test core flows such as registration, login, course search, checkout, video playback, quizzes, AI chat, refund requests, and account settings.
2. Platform accessibility practices
The platform should prioritize semantic HTML, visible focus states, keyboard navigation, sufficient color contrast, descriptive links, labels for form fields, clear error messages, responsive design, alt text, captions, transcripts, and compatibility with assistive technologies.
When MyCleverly uses AI or automated translation, users should be warned that accessibility-critical output may require human review.
3. Creator responsibilities
Creators are encouraged to provide clear audio, readable slides, structured documents, meaningful file names, captions or transcripts where feasible, explanations of visual content, and accessible downloadable materials.
Creators should avoid relying solely on color, unreadable images of text, uncaptioned essential audio, inaccessible PDFs, or fast-moving visual demonstrations without explanation.
4. Accessibility feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, contact support@mycleverly.com with the subject Accessibility and include the page URL, device, browser, assistive technology, problem description, and preferred format or accommodation.
MyCleverly will review accessibility feedback and prioritize fixes based on severity, user impact, legal obligations, and technical feasibility.
